August 1912 was the first  Fair and was known as the Hermiston Dairy and Hog Show. The first fair was a joint fair with Morrow County and in 1913 legislation change that made it no longer possible to have a bi county fair.

Umatilla County Accepting Applications For
The 2009 Fair Court

Umatilla County is currently accepting applications for the 2009 fair court. Fair court application deadline is October 15, 2008.

The Umatilla County Fairgrounds have been a family tradition in Umatilla County since 1912. When people think of the Umatilla County Fair, they think of the best old fashioned fair in Eastern Oregon filled with Davis Carnival Rides, livestock and open class eBull Rider Farm City Rodeo xhibits, great entertainers and 4 days of Farm City Pro Rodeo action . Family Day Passes are available at the East Oregonian Offices & at the Fair Office.
Davis Carnival Wrist Brand Tickets are on sale NOW for $20.00 Starting Aug 4th they will be $25.00 , please contact the fair office to purchase wrist bands.

PARKING: Season Parking Passes $20.00 or Paid parking upon arrival $5.00
