Fun Facts

August 1912 was the first  Fair and was known as the Hermiston Dairy and Hog Show. The first fair was a joint fair with Morrow County and in 1913 legislation change that made it no longer possible to have a bi county fair.

Applications and other Documents

The Umatilla County Fair is fast approaching and with that we are gathering information from our vendors. Listed below are your vendor contracts, which need to be signed and returned to the Umatilla County Fair Office as soon as possible. Also, a Certificate of Liability, listing Umatilla County Fair as additionally insured, in the amount of $300,000.00 is needed within 15 days of the start of Fair.

Looking for a place to ride your Horse?

Looking for a place to ride your horse? The Umatilla County Fair has just the answer. For just $5 per visit or $30 a month, people can ride in the arena between noon and 5 p.m.  Monday through Friday.

No reservation will be required, but riders will be asked to sign a waver on their first visit. Waiver forms are available at the fair office or the dropbox next to the arean.

To make it as easy as possible for folks, riders will be able to go straight to the arena. 

The Umatilla County Fairgrounds also has Stall Space available for overnight boarding for horses traveling through the Hermiston area and on I-82 and I-84. It also has an RV park available for those pulling their
trailers. Reservations can be made through the Fair office.
